This is a replacement remote and will work with the factory remote keyless entry system (RKE) on the vehicles listed below. Your vehicle must have the factory RKE system on it. Customers are responsible to determine if they have this option and to purchase the correct remote for their vehicle. All of our remotes come with fresh batteries and are fully tested before shipment.
NOTE: Some Toyota vehicles were equipped with an optional dealer installed system. That system is known as the Toyota VIP, RS3000, or RS3200 security system and it uses a different remote.

works like a new button
The programming takes some patience. After a few tries I managed to get it right. It works very well, a new button for my 2005 Tacoma. The old one wasn't reliable at all. I would have to click and pray with the old one. Now first click and I'm in! This was like getting a new truck.

Worked Great
Worked perfectly for our 2005 Toyota Tacoma. Instructions were clear. On first try, I did not enter the key in all the way. After the second try, it worked perfectly!!!

Excellent Value and Easy Setup
The fob that I ordered for my 2011 Tacoma came with clear instructions and the manual set-up that I did took less than 2 minutes. The setup was easy but did involve a number of steps and was like some sort of mating-dance.

Read the fine print
Does Not Work on Tundra. Buy it. Waste your now. REPLY: It DOES work on Tundra but you cannot program it yourself. And it says that clearly in the listing. It is not in "fine print". You should actually read the product description of things you buy and not just click on pictures.

Worked Like the Original
I saw cheaper remotes available but was worried about whether they were the real deal. This remote came quickly, was easy to program following the detailed instructions, and it works perfectly. My original remote stopped working after I replaced the battery. I used the programming instructions that came with the new remote and was able to get the old one to work again so now I have a remote for my husband too.

Should have gotten this years ago. So nice to press door lock or door open button once and the lock works. Fast delivery too. Ordered one from Amazon at the same time and it still hasnt come in yet.

Keeyless
It was quite easy to program, by the instructions included. I failed once, but got it the 2nd time. You just have to be conscious of the step by step actions & stay within the time limit.
