PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Do it yourself programming instructions are located in your owner’s manual. The key is a blank and will need to be cut to match your current key.
Notes: This remote is for vehicles equipped with the Keyless Access System (passive entry/push button ignition start). The purchase includes a blank security key, which will need to be cut to work on your vehicle, this service can be done at a dealership or qualified locksmith with the correct tools. About $100 less than buying from the local dealer! Product appears to be brand new, in factory sealed packaging, has a battery already installed, and programmed according to the instructions in the car's user manual the first time.
